The mutable, agile, fire sign Sagittarius, welcomes us into the 9th house of Philosophy, ruled by the (abundant) planet Jupiter.
This is a time to consider where our good will, intuition and light heartedness, meets us along for the ride in the realms of personal growth, in the forms of mental (swords of tarot) and physical (pentacles of tarot) and where prosperity, optimism, or indulgence is showing up. We may also feel compelled to travel or find ourselves interested in anything foreign, perhaps learning something new or diving deeper into subjects we’re passionate about or activities involving the mind, body or spirit.

The tarot card associated with Sagittarius is Temperance. an angelic being standing in balance, with one foot in the water (representing the subconscious or emotion) and the other foot on land (the conscious or physical world). They hold two chalices where the water of life flows eternally, one chalice filling the other as if suspended in time, in an equal exchange. This tarot card is the path of the dark night of the soul that is guided by trust in the brilliance of divine light or a new dawn.

A contemplative question we can ask ourselves during this planetary phase is, where is our generosity flowing and where are we able to grow with the flow, on each new day?
